Connect Groups are are a fantastic way to make friends and share outings in the Macarthur Region.

Groups meet throughout the week in coffee shops, shopping centres, fast food outlets, at sporting venues, in homes, and many other places. There are also weekend groups. And there are lifestyle and life skills courses too.

Camden Uniting Church is a large, lively, growing evangelical church serving the Macarthur Region in Sydney’s South-West.

We provide a broad range of activities, services, seminars and courses for families and children, youth, young adults, and the aged. Camden Uniting Church serves an area bounded by Bringelly, Austral and Leppington to the north, Campbelltown to the east, Warragamba and The Oaks to the west, and Picton to the south.

40 DAYS OF LOVE COURSE - STARTS AUGUST 1

What is your #1 Goal in Life? Most people say they want to be loved and appreciated. But this can be difficult to achieve.

40 DAYS OF LOVE is a short video-based relationships course that's interesting, challenging and helpful for anyone who wants to build a better life.

This six-session DVD-based course - to be held in small groups all over the Macarthur Region - has been created by well-known author Rick Warren. Warren teaches that "Loving...is our highest goal, our greatest aim, our first priority, our deepest aspiration, our strongest ambition, our constant focus, our passionate intention, and our dominant life value." Warren's empasis is on "loving authentically".

The six sessions are: Love Matters Most; Love Is Patient, Love Is Kind; Love Speaks the Truth; Love Is Forgiving; Love Is Not Selfish; and The Habits of a Loving Heart.

We build a 'foundation' at Oran Park

Camden Uniting Church was present when Oran Park was opened to the public on Saturday, April 27. Members of our church held an open-air prayer meeting next to the Sales Office. Other members joined in prayer at Camden. "We felt it was essential to lay a spiritual foundation," one pastor said. Situated in the heart of Camden Local Government Area, Oran Park Town is surrounded by Harrington Park, Narellan, Gregory Hills, and Catherine Fields. When complete, Oran Park Town will be home to more than 26,000 people living in 8,000 homes. The development is inside Camden Uniting Church's area of ministry (Bringelly, Austral and Leppington to the north, Campbelltown to the east, Warragamba and The Oaks to the west, and Picton to the south).
